Who we are
The Circle of Angels Initiative, Inc., is celebrating its tenth year!  Incorporated in 1999 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit association, it is a small faith-based initiative located near Washington, D. C.  Locally, we serve the people of southern Maryland.  Globally, we assist people in other nations through mentoring in entrepreneurship and community building, by delivering the purity message, and by sending books and other items.  We work collaboratively and cooperatively with other organizations.

What we do  The Circle works through policy and advocacy to prevent risky behavior, to eliminate poverty, to prevent bullying and domestic violence, and to create opportunities for affordable housing.  We will work, as called, to help people who are in crisis.

We are presently developing a mutual aid housing and web for all program.  Check back for details!

Because of our interest in youth and their unique challenges, we are a founding partner in a mentoring partnership to promote the mentoring of youth.

We partner with organizations to develop programs to promote empowerment in youth and to mentor youth in entrepreneurship.

We work collaboratively and cooperatively with other organizations to promote empowerment initiatives.

We mentor individuals and organizations for success on housing initiatives, entrepreneurship, youth empowerment initiatives, community empowerment initiatives and prevention strategies.

We host events like WWII USO Remembrance Day to educate people, especially youth, about mentoring, to build community, and to encourage empowerment.  We have learned that mentoring will happen naturally when people gather for fun.

Ongoing Global Missions

Zambia: preparing container of books, farm equipment, and other items.  Our missionary will visit Pastor Esther and her soup kitchen for widows and orphans.  At Pastor Esther's request, she will bring the purity message. She will interview applicants to be brought to the U.S.A. for mentoring in entrepreneurship and community initiatives.  The Circle has sent books, laptop computers, and a farming expert to Zambia.  A library in Zambia was created by women who learned community building through a collaborative program where they visited the U.S. and were mentored by community groups including the Circle.  They visited in 2001 and opened the library in 2005 with ongoing support and encouragement from the Circle and other community groups.

Liberia: preparing container of items for orphanage; our missionary will go to Elwuo Orphanage and bring the purity message. She will  interview applicants to be brought to the U.S.A. for mentoring in entrepreneurship and community initiatives.

Russia: Our missionary and a Russian native will visit orphanages to bring the purity message and the message of salvation.

Belief  When we grasp hands as friends in a never ending circle, we become strong as angels and, as angels, we expect and live miracles.  We believe in empowering people, organizations, and communities.

Issues  Policy and advocacy to change and to empower in the prevention of risky behaviors, elimination of poverty, prevention of bullying and domestic violence, and in creating opportunities for affordable housing.
